Villa Jovita: The Bali of Batangas

Dreaming of going to Bali pero malayo at magastos? Well if you are looking for an out-of-town destination with a Balinese ambience then search no more because I got one place you will surely love. Affordable Bali experience in the Philippines, no other than Villa Jovita, which is also known as "The Bali of Batangas". Pure nature with intagrammable corners mere hours away from Manila.

HOW TO GET THERE
If you are commuting, take a Bus (DLTB Cubao) bound to Lemery Batangas, it has an approximately 3 hours travel time. Drop off is in front of Xentro Mall, Lemery Batangas. From there, ride one of the tricycles locwted beside the mall and tell the driver to drop you off at Villa Jovita Resort.

Since we are an all girls squad (8 of us) and dont have time to plan, we chose a joiners trip for a hassle-free travel and convenience facilitated by the Squad Advebtures https://www.facebook.com/squadadventuretravelandtours/ you can search thier offered tours at this link. It comes with a package for only 599 pesos per person with side trips to; Twinlakes Tagaytay, Caleruega, Fantasy World, Sonia's Garden and Gingerbread House.

Our call time was 3:30 am and we were picked up by the van at Mall of Asia. Since I come from my hospital duty (as usual bangag), the travel time was my way of catching up some sleep. It was about two hours until we reached Tagaytay and had our first stop at Twin Lakes.

It has a viewing deck where you can have a good sight of Taal Volcano and and its sorrounding lake. Since we were early, we arrived just in time for the sunrise.

It was a perfect view to start the day and a break from the usual morning city scenery which is what the purpose of this trip. Once a while, we have to take a break from our daily grind and usual routine

Villa Jovita Resort

After the two side trips we stopped at, we finally reached our main destination, Villa Jovita. We were guided to the entrance and our travel organizer arranged the payment for us. The resort was not so packed when are arrived but got an influx of visitors shortly after. We went there on a holiday so maybe that was the reason it got so full of people. So I suggest to go there on a regular day to avoid the long lines and to enjoy more of the place.

The resort has recently gained popularity due to the number of tourist flocking the place. It was a private home before it became a resort open to public. Eversince, its main attractions are the non-chlorinated swimming pools and natural green ambience for which it is known and visited for.

With the addition of its new themes and features, the Bali-themed and Santorini corner, it has now even more become one of destinations travel and tour ventures include in thier package list.
